I want to take a moment to acknowledge your strength and resilience. It’s important for you to know that institutions have both a moral and legal duty to protect you. When they fail in that duty—especially when it results in the sexual abuse of a child—they have not only breached your trust, but violated the law. And the law recognizes your right to seek justice and hold
accountable those responsible for your injuries and losses.
Childhood sexual abuse can cause profound, lasting harm—disrupting relationships, damaging emotional health, and affecting every area of life. If the institution responsible for your safety failed to prevent your abuse, you have the right to hold them accountable.
That includes the ability to pursue a lawsuit against legally responsible parties, institutions—such as churches, schools, and youth organizations—whose negligence allowed the abuse to occur. These legal claims are one way to seek accountability and, in many cases, compensation for the harm you’ve endured.
The members of our legal team have dedicated their careers to fighting on behalf of CSA Survivors. We would be honored to have the opportunity to fight on your behalf if you decide to take action against those accountable for the childhood sexual abuse you or a loved one may have endured.
While we cannot promise a particular result in any case, I guarantee no firm will work harder or longer on your behalf. That being said, if we accept your case, it’s because we determined your claim is viable and potentially very valuable depending on particular facts.
Remember you are not alone. There are resources and support systems available to guide you through this process & we commend you for your courage in coming forward. Taking that first step towards justice can make a powerful difference in your own life and in the lives of others.
With respect and support,
Jason J. Joy
